Dr. Linda Grappin has been in practice for 40+ years providing excellent chiropractic care to her patients. Treatment is personalized to the patient’s needs.

bni-memberDr. Grappin treats complex cases especially those patients who had trauma from car accidents or with back surgery and chronic pain. She also treats chronic headaches associated with cervical spondylosis, spinal stenosis, posterior cervical tension or (TMJ) temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Pregnant patients also get relief of spinal back pain which can help the delivery process!

Treatment for vertebral subluxations (mal-alignment) include non-forceful procedures using Activator Methods. This method is very successful for a person needing a gentle approach, or with children. It is “precision” correction using instruments that gently move the vertebre into correct position. Hands or Manual Divertified Techniques for spinal corrections are also gentle, and release the “pressures” associated with nerve pain and pinching.

Disc injuries respond very well to spinal correction, and spinal decompression and laser to reduce the impingement associated with nerve radiating pain to legs and arms. Tendon, muscles, and bursae treatments can include Graston Techniques (soft tissue treatment with instruments), deep ultrasound and electrical therapy.

Acupuncture can be used for pain or restoring function. Physical Therapy, Nutrition and Exercises are also provided to make the patient’s care with better outcome and stability.

Dr. Linda Grappin and her husband have served the North Port community since 1977, and will continue helping patients with gradual retirement over many years. Their sons, Drs. Lee and Ross Grappin, have joined the practice in 2014 and plan to follow the practices established by their parents as well as introducing new procedures and treatments.
